I think that there was toll parking (company name unknown) where 4 cars are stopped on Gaien Street (Toll road No. 39) about 5 minutes on foot from Suzu Shin to Toei Obihashi Station.
Sundays and holidays.
One of the best Tonkatsus I've ever tasted.Very tasty! Mega friendly place, too. Will go back there again.
Absolutely fantastic. Kind and talkative staff, very welcoming toward foreigners, a real gem of a tonkatsu restaurant. The food is delicious and the whole place lovely. If you’re French, please tell them so and you’ll chat about how they like France :)!
Crazy pork tonkotsu. Mega friendly owner
It was my first time, so I ordered a standard boiled katsudon (1,400 yen)I expected a lot of katsudon 100 restaurants, but it was as expected. The cutlet was big, it could be easily cut with chopsticks, the amount of fat was good, and the fat was quite delicious. The fluffy cooked rice made the cutlet even more delicious.Sauce is not too thick and tastes elegantIt is confirmed to return to the store.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The best tonkatsu experience I've ever had, bar none. And the chef and his wife were very hospitable and thrilled about having customers from the Philippines. They spoke a few Filipino words and talked about their love for the Palawan islands.
I took my fiance here today while on our holiday to Japan. We arrived with the lunch crowd and had to wait a few minutes, which was totally worthwhile. The owner spoke English to us and was very welcoming and friendly, sitting us at the bar and explaining the menu. He recommended the standard Tonkatsu meal to us and it was incredible. While there he came over to speak to us, ask where we're from (Australia) and a little bit about our trip. His English was great, but he forgot the word for Autumn leaves, so he disappeared for a while to type it into a translator and then returned. It was just a nice moment for me and my fiance who were surprised he took the time to do so. Great place, highly recommended!
Best in Tokyo Thank you Mr Suzuki
YES.
Arrived just in time before the last order of the day, to find a peaceful audience gathered around the chef skillfully executing his craft. My meal was delicious and the service was lovely. Highly recommend
Amazing 10/10 would recommend
Arrived shortly before closing time and ordered the pork cutlets and onion on a skewer which came with rice, miso soup and picked and this was some of the best food I have had in Tokyo so far. The menu had English notes on it, and the staff spoke English well enough. To top it off the owner stopped us as we were leaving to make sure we didn't go without a complimentary cracker with the shops branding on it. Will definately go again!
Great Tonkatsu (Japanese pork cutlet) at one of the most welcoming restaurants I have ever been to in Japan - google "Suzushin Tadaima" for a write-up, pictures and video.
The owner/ chef was very friendly and welcoming. The tonkatsu was delicious. Great experience!
Very good place to eat tonkatsu, it"s quiet and not expensive, just check if it's open before going. Not too many seats.
Restaurant specialised in Tonkatsu, fried bread crumbed pork. They also serve chicken and mackerel fries, too. Operated by friendly couple, also a leader of this community, to keep this area, Arakicho, good old scenic.
Delicious fried pork with omelette. Nice cozy atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth trying!!! Highly recommended!!
Lovely and very popular tonkatsu place. It is always very busy
Amazon traditional katsu. They have English menus too and the staff will try and help you. They only have 13 seats around the bar so get there early. We watched the cook slice the pork, tenderize it, crumb it and fry it in front of us. How much more fresh can you get! I reccomend the set for between 1300-1800¥ depending on the size of the cutlet. Their special seems to be fried katsu set in an omelette which looked delicious! Very quaint traditional place!
